Ingredients
1 tsp olive oil
2 x 200g scotch fillet steak (beef)
250mL cold water
250g Jacoub’s Steak Diane Sauce
Preparation
1. Combine cold water with Jacoub’s Steak Diane Sauce. Stir well, bring to boil. Reduce heat. Simmer 1-2 minutes.
2. Heat a grill or fry pan over high heat. Season steaks well and cook for 4 minutes on each side (for medium cooked). Remove to a plate and allow to rest for at least 5 minutes.
3. Serve steaks with roasted potatoes, steamed green vegetables and the warm Diane sauce.
Pro Tip
When it comes to cooking red meat, thicker is better.
